ASTM & AASHTO compliant – StormTech’s arch-shaped chambers are designed and manufactured to codes and standards published by the American Association of State Highway & Transportation Officials (AASHTO) (AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications Section 12.2) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2787 (Standard practice for structural design of Thermoplastic Corrugated Wall Stormwater Collection Chambers), F2418 (Standard Specification for Polypropylene Corrugated Wall Stormwater Collection Chambers) and F2922 (Standard Specification for Polyethylene (PE) Corrugated Wall Stormwater Collection Chambers)
Eurocode compliant – Eurocode structural design principles were used to model the performance of StormTech. The results show that all the StormTech chambers are structurally adequate, at both minimum and maximum cover, when installed as per the manufacturer’s guidelines
ISO 4982 compliant – ISO 4982 (Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground conveyance and storage of non-potable water — Arch-shaped, corrugated wall chambers made of PE or PP used for retention, detention, storage and transportation of storm water systems — Product specifications and performance criteria)
DCG compliant – OFWAT’s Design and Construction Guidance (DCG) for sewers
Scottish Water/SEPA Approval – Approved by SEPA and meets the requirements of Sewers for Scotland 4th edition
Mitigation Indices compliant – ADS StormTech including Isolator Row is the only combined SuDS attenuation and water quality management system to have 3rd party verified MIs, with the capability to treat Medium Pollution Hazard applications without the need for other SuDS treatment components.
